Hiya folks! how are you this very early morning? Anyways I just thought I would take the time to tell everyone what is keeping us busy as (hopefully) this winter starts to come to an end. Since our first full band show at the Creep House the day after Christmas we have played many shows and met many more great people and probably some long term friendships!! Now down to business!!
First I'm going to talk about releases of cd's and tapes! As of right now I am making what will hopefully be the packaging to the cassette release of "Whoa!!!" This will be a VERY short run with only around 10-15 being made so get that it will cost anywhere between $2-$5. Next I would like to announce that we will be doing a split with our good friends in Pirouette, this will feature two new originals from each band then us covering each other's songs, right now it is looking like we will be covering "Clinton Wasn't On A Bill, But He Was One" and from what I gather from talking to Scotty they will be doing "Song 1". The way this is going to be released is still up in the air but two options are being tossed around one being a cassette in a cloth sleeve and a free digital download or standard Cd-R, but things could change. Finally we are about 3/4 done the amount of songs we want to go into the studio with. Expect a single from that to be released in the next month or two.
Now on to the fun part SHOWS!!!! Lately we have been playing shows it feels like all the time and its a burden I would love to deal with forever and with the arrival of spring and summer we will be traveling far away to play shows!! In late April we will be heading up to Lowell, Mass to play two shows with one of the nicest band we have ever met, Coalmine Canary. Then in June we will be hitting the road(and game cube controllers) with our great friends Spraynard. After our show in Pitman, NJ (by the way check our Great Winds!!) but back to what I was saying after the show we raced to West Chester to see 3 of my favorite bands right now and we missed Spraynard and Everyone Everywhere completely and missed Pirouette because of Fennarios being packed so Naomi, Frank, And I headed over to the Pita Pit and saw Dos and Mark of Spraynard and sat down and talked for a long time where they invited us to tour with them June 12th through June 26th. This tour is roughly looking like us heading out west towards Chicago hitting a few places in between then doing the same down to Atlanta then a short drive to Mecca, I mean GAINESVILLE!!, then up the eastern seaboard with a bunch of stops between Gainesville and the last show in West Chester. All in all the next 6 months are gonna be AWESOME!!
As for right now we have a bunch of shows confirmed with more in the works for the next couple months here is a couple of them:
2.20.09 The Cedar House
2.27.09 Lunt Basement at Haverford College W/ Rasputins Secret Police
3.05.09 Haverford Township Free Library W/ Spraynard, Pirouette
3.14.09 Drexel Hill Methodist Church W/ Nerd Camp, Roo Bradleys
4.03.09 UMAHS Make-A-Wish Foundation Benefit W/ Pirouette
4.24.09 119 Gallery W/ Math the Band, Coalmine Canary
4.25.09 Acoustic House Show
LOVE!,
Tim

Hey everyone,
We here at Factors of Four have just finished recording our new EP entitled Whoa!!! which features 6 new songs, three of which are posted.
100 are being pressed at Sire Press, and we will have these by our next slue of shows.
I strongly recommend that if you're looking into properly releasing an album doing it through them. No where will you find a more helpful, amazing, CHEAP! and independent company than Sire.

gotta keep it DIY
As far as our live dates go, we have 6 coming up, with plenty more in the works to be announced.
Starting off this weekend we are playing two shows:
1/16 We are playing WHHS's fundraiser at Haverford High School with Whales and Cops, Ardmore Assault, Tet Offensive and a ton of other bands. This is only $5 and starts at 6, we go on right around 8. Be sure to be on time to see everyone!
1/17 We will be playing with our super good friends in Rasputin's Secret Police and PCP at the Coffee Club in Media. This starts at 7:30 and should only be a few bucks.
1/24 We will be returning to the venue/studio where we recorded our EP, the lovely Crack House in Honey Brooke (By way of Downingtown, address on our page). We're really excited to play with Pirouette again, always a great band to see/spend time with. If you like cats, basements with a ton of nooks and crannies loading with super cool things, and Mom and Pop's Pizza shops, you should come out to this. Only $4 and there are two more bands to be announced. Starts around 8.
1/31 We have two shows this day
2:00 PM: Playing Broad Street Ministries in Philly (315 S. Broad Street) with Brown Mushroom, Uke Box, Whales and Cops, and a ton of other great bands. This starts right at 2, and must be over by 8 so get there on time! $5-10 sliding scale donation.
8:00 PM: We are heading out to West Chester to play Fennarios (111 N. Church Street) with The Danger O's and one more band TBA (fingers crossed on Spraynard!). I want to thank Pat (Dos) from the Creep House for thinking of us to play this show, he is a great guy and everyone should look into his band Spraynard. If you love Bridge and Tunnle/Latterman/any amazing bands seriously check them out, you can download there 10 minute long EP at their website

2/27 is our final date that is currently announced and we are all really really excited for. We are playing Lunt Basement at Haverford College, which, if you have ever been you know how much fun it is regardless of what type of band is playing. For those of you who need alcohol to persuade you to attend, there are always kegs, so if yr tryna get krunk, you can... and then come dance like a fool.
Let us know what you think of the tracks, then go add Pirouette and tell them (specifically Scotty) that he did an AMAZING job recording and mixing. He seriously helped us so much and we are extremely grateful to have him on our side.
Thanks!
